How to Install gmpc software package in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin)

gmpc software package provides Gnome Music Player Client (graphical interface to MPD), you can install in your Ubuntu 12.04 LTS (Precise Pangolin) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install gmpc

gmpc is installed in your system.

Make ensure the gmpc package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep gmpc *

You will get with gmpc package name, version, architecture and description in a table
